About Center for dalit rights
Rajasthan has been a feudal state, glimpses of which can still be seen in the villages, in this social system the Dalits are the most affected by caste discrimination. Caste discrimination is at its peak in all the districts of Rajasthan, the situation of caste discrimination is even worse in the districts of Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer of western Rajasthan. Even today, Dalits are not allowed to sit on the village Chaupal in the villages of Rajasthan. They cannot go out wearing shoes in front of the fort (Rawala), cannot go out sitting on a bicycle, Dalit bride and groom cannot sit on a horse, Dalits are not allowed to use public places, Dalits’ hair is not cut, Dalits cannot use the rights given by the Constitution, there is a flood of cases of caste discrimination.

Access To Justice
Human rights violations against Dalits remain a pressing concern, impeding their freedom and development. Our “Access to Justice” program is designed to combat these issues by providing immediate relief and long-term justice to survivors.

Gender justice
CDR and the Dalit Mahila Manch (DMM) jointly lead programs focused on fostering gender justice for victims, stakeholders, and our own team. Our prime focus is to address the critical issue of sexual harassment, especially in the workplace, and to cultivate gender sensitization.
